Saltine Toffee Bars
-Line a cookie sheet with foil and put 1 layer of saltines.
-In a pan melt 2 sticks of butter, add 1 cup brown sugar.
-Boil for 3 minutes (mixture will be frothy). Don't stop stirring the entire 3 mins.
-Pour over crackers.
-Bake for 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
-Sprinkle with package of chocolate chips, spread when melty and put in fridge.
-After cooling for at least an hour, break in to pieces.
-Resist the urge sample over and over and over again.

ReplyDeleteI just made these.. amazing!! Thanks for sharing. Wish mine were served up with the veggies in the back round. Ugh.. they are going to be hard to resist!!
