Easy solution: put him in footed pjs, the kind with the long zipper. Use a safety pin to keep the zipper closed. You may have to go to a carters store to find them in 2t or 3t size. Since the pin is near his neck, he can't see it well enough to open it. Craptastrophies averted!HappyAutisticMamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07155037824384409624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4269752752790199141.post-39647083315227015842011-02-04T18:08:02.754-06:002011-02-04T18:08:02.754-06:00We totally did the backwards jammies thing (have t...We totally did the backwards jammies thing (have to cut out the footies, meh, totally worth it!) and it worked GREAT for Lukka. Not only did he never understand how that worked (SCORE!) but he slept better because he wasn't distracted by the fun of taking off all his clothes.

Hope it works!

SSarah Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05897525100460024871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4269752752790199141.post-26680555609805832582011-02-04T16:54:19.951-06:002011-02-04T16:54:19.951-06:00I've heard that you can put zippered PJs on ba...I've heard that you can put zippered PJs on backwards so they can't reach the zipper, and if they are footie PJs preventing you from putting on backward, you can just cut off the feet and use socks. I don't know if this only works on younger kids, or if Declan would be able to work his way out of it anyway, but maybe it's worth a shot?Lanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15845265647900899258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4269752752790199141.post-53172441756486588632011-02-04T16:49:51.515-06:002011-02-04T16:49:51.515-06:00We duct-taped Ava in her diaper. I've also heard of people having success with backwards-diapering or backwards jammies so they can't reach the closures.

But duct tape worked rather well here. And after a week or so Ava forgot she could and we stopped taping her in.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05181924375187173030noreply@blogger.com
