Oh, what a trip we had getting to Seattle. I had been sick for a couple days but the worse was yesterday. You know what bites?? Trying to get pumped up to fly when you feel like you were hit by a truck. So after much debate, the vacation plans went full force ahead. Our flights were good. We were expecting a layover in Denver for a couple of hours that turned in to over 4 hours. Oh, the joys. With much relief we arrived at my brother-in-law & sis-in-law's place after 2am (4am our time at home).
Today was great- sleeping in, good company, yummy food. We walked around the famous Market. How fabulous is that place? So much fresh food and gorgeous (cheap) flowers. It was buzzed with energy and we'll be back before we head home.
Dinner was a huge treat. We went to my brother-in-law's culinary school for dinner. Think "Hells.Kitchen" minus the screaming and breaking dishes. Our food was excellent and we were joined by good friends (who also live in Seattle) and their friends. Here's my bro-in-law coming to say hi after cooking the best halibut I've ever eaten:
Some shots of the food (mouth water yet??)

Oh that food looks yummy, even at 7:30 in the morning! Glad you made it safely and hope you feel better for the rest of your trip.
I think it is every woman's dream to be married to a chef! What a lucky girl!
Have fun, Seattle is my second favorite place in the world...next to Vancouver!
