Mother's Day

I apologize in advance for the Declan/Mommy picture overload. I'm rarely on the other side of the lens. :)

Thursday, Declan's preschool hosted a Mother's Day tea. It was so sweet to walk in and hear "mommy!!!" yelled across they gym. He was so excited for me to be there during his school day.
Saturday, I was surprised with a beautiful bouquet of flowers "from Declan". I love Gerber daisies. They just make me happy.
Today, we relaxed and did lunch after church and headed out to the Parade of Homes (new construction homes) to look around. I always work on Sundays so it was a gift just being off!
So blessed to be called mama!!! This boy lights my world. No matter how challenging or exhausting he can be, I'm thrilled he's my son. How can I be so lucky?!!

This is the sweetest post. Beautiful pictures of you and your sweet boy!

I'm just catching up as I've been away from the blogosphere for awhile. I'm so sorry about your failed match. :( Your attitude is inspiring. I so hope baby #2 is home with you soon. Many many hugs...

Great post! I can completely relate - "No matter how challenging or exhausting he can be, I'm thrilled he's my son." Boys can be crazy sometimes! But super awesome too. There's nothing like that mommy son bond.
