Precious Moments

I've been making the point to stop and tell Declan 5 things that I love about him when he's testing my patience with his spirited nature. I always end our little chat with "remember that someday you'll be a world changer." I totally believe he will! He is so high energy but also so magnetic and I know, if properly directed and nurtured, he'll do big thing some day. It's been weeks since we've had our last chat.

So tonight Mark and I were lying in bed with Decs. He started to drift off and after a long silence, he said: "Mommy, remember that I'm going be a world changer??" Sure do, bud. Melt my heart.
