The week before school started, we finally broke away for a family vacation to Colorado. We have never road tripped with all 3 boys and I was prepared for the worst. It wasn't that bad thankfully!
When we arrived in Eagle (in Vail valley) we headed right out to eat at this cute little restaurant with a fenced in grassy area...brilliant. The kids loved running around while we enjoyed adult company.
We spent time the next day hiking around Sylvan lake. It was gorgeous. I could hike there everyday and never get bored.
The next day we spent the day in Vail Village and probably saw maybe half of it. We took a gondola ride up the mountain and the boys got a chance to do some fun Colorado activities.
Our gracious hosts:
Oh Moes. This restaurant was DELISH. Can't wait to go back. (It also had a great outdoor area for kiddos to run around)
On our way home we stopped to see our friend Nick in Denver and the boys got a chance to burn off some energy.
What a fabulous trip! Maybe Colorado will be our home some day....Until then we will visit often.
