Great Article

I was sort of guilty of wondering how some of my friends with kids had NO time. I felt like I'd be able to "do it all" and have plenty of time. Ha. I'm eating my words now...

I like her! Great article! I remember when Dman was first born and I quit my job. I stopped in one day and a childless, very career-minded, former co-worker asked me, "So what do you do all day?" And he was still a baby, not a toddler running around making my day even more full than it was then! I wish I'd had this article to show her!

Hahaha, that reply was hilarious! AND SO TRUE.

However...I do find that even with the kids...while I am often run ragged and have barely the time for a shower...that things get done. You know? It's like...sometimes I feel like I spend ALL DAY doing them, but I am able still to call friends, do some churchwork, go out to eat, etc. I think, though, that I'm particularly fond of teaching kids how to behave in the real world by dragging them there. :)

My MIL just sent me that in an email yesterday. I was guilty as charged. But five months ago I was introduced head on into why kids take so much time.... This article is dead on!

Sadly, I can't use this as an excuse with my friends because I was bad about calling even before Evie...grading papers was my baby back then.
