It's national baby wearing week. I had no clue, but I read it on someone else's blog, so it's got to be fact, right? ;) I haven't worn Declan nearly as much as I had planned to but I still really enjoy doing it when we do. He's pretty fond of it as well. :) My favorite so far has been the moby but I also like the Peanut Shell. I'm going to ditch the stroller more this week and wear my little guy. :)

that's awesome. Theia's been too heavy to wear on my front side since she was about 3 months, we had to get a backpack. Enjoy every minute of him this small, he'll be big before you know it. In college and getting married. Ahhh. Love ya.
I loved wearing Asher when he was smaller...he is now 22 pounds(!) & I think that might hurt a bit to wear on the front...but I am looking forward to trying him on my side & back! :) He is pretty squirmy these days!
I had an ellaroo sling that I could NOT get a handle on...which stinks bc it was $60! I am going to make my own Moby wrap next time around and see if that is a little easier for me!
When Declan gets big enough (sitting up by himself)--you guys should invest in a Kelty-type backpack. Lu goes EVERYWHERE on dad's shoulders--even to mow the lawn, and loves it!
Sarah
He looks so tiny in that pic! Beautiful though!
i agree with "stefan, sarah and lukka" we have a kelty FC 1 and it's very spectacular. it's the framed hiking variety, but kelty also makes unframed ones that look like back packs, which is actually hysterical to see, it looks like you put the baby in a regular back pack and their head and limbs are just hanging out. they're extremely comfy. and you can carry up to 40lbs. wait, IT can carry up to 40lbs, although i'm not sure you would want to!
Hey Ashley!
check out my blog and pick up your award!

I'm hoping to wear one too. I've heard a lot of people say it's more hassle than it's worth...but we'll see!
