ditto, as long as his head isn't too wobbly, he's fine :) We put Evie in hers sometimes and just help her support her neck because she loves sitting up already.
LOVE the new centerpiece! Very cute! Not a mommy yet but a friend of mine started using her bumbo as soon as the boys were able to hold their heads up... he'll let you know when he's done! Enjoy!!
My daughter started sitting up on her own at 3 months! Rock that Bumbo as long as his head isn't wobbly. And DON'T set him on your kitchen countertop... my son fell out onto the floor when I walked out of the room. He was fine thank the Lord... but I always tell my friends b/c it doesn't seem like they could fall out.
Looks like he is ready for it! Just keep an eye on him so that he doesn't get stuck in it in weird positions and I would suggest putting it on any elevated surface :) Looks like he is going to have a great time with it. Did you know they make trays for it?
I'm here from Flicka's blog....I followed your link because you talked about open adoption and then was drawn in by your cute little man! AND that you were a younger adoptive parent!
Ok, so that doesn't sound weird, I'm 24 (25 in Jan) and we adopted our daughter through open adoption in May 07 and had a son through IVF in Dec 07....so I have an interest in reading about other both young moms and especially about other open adoptions!
If you want to read my blog, I'm private and you can email me at jpond_24@yahoo.com....but you don't have to. Just wanted to drop you a note that I'm going to bookmark you and have enjoyed reading your story of getting your baby boy! What a rollercoaster, but...oh, how worth it! :)

As long as he can support his head, go for it! Just limit the time in it and his neck will be super strong in no time! Cute pic!
oh. my. goodness.
I started Mariana in her Bumboo at 3 months but she hated it, now that she has better upper body strength she loves it.
Cute centerpiece!
